2027 Audition Materials

The audition materials are free to download. We encourage all prospective members to be as prepared as possible for the audition process.  Atlanta Quest and Q2 will share the same audition materials for the initial audition (Q2 callbacks will learn a Q2-specific packet later). Each packet will contain instructions and contact information for each section.

For those trying to go the extra mile in their preparation, we offer battery exercise MP3s for $1 each. Each exercise has three tempos to aid your practice while you drum along with the full battery!

2027 Front Ensemble Packet

The front ensemble packet will include all keyboard exercises as well as timpani, auxiliary percussion, drum set, and bass guitar. 

2027 Snare Drum Packet

The snare packet will include audition tips, technique advice, and all of the 2027 exercises.  

2027 Quads Packet

The quads packet will include audition tips, technique advice, and all of the 2027 exercises.

 2027 Bass Drum Packet

The bass packet will include audition tips, technique advice, and all of the 2027 exercises.

2027 Cymbal Packet

The cymbal packet will include audition tips, technique advice, and all of the 2027 exercises.

The battery visual packet includes information on our visual and physical fitness programs, including suggested workouts, and breakdowns of posture and technique.
