2027 Audition Materials

The audition materials are free to download. We encourage all prospective members to be as prepared as possible for the audition process. Atlanta Quest and Q2 will be evaluated using the same audition materials for the initial auditions (Q2 callbacks will learn a Q2-specific packet later). Each packet will contain instructions and contact information for each section.

For those trying to go the extra mile in their preparation, we offer battery exercise MP3s for $1 each. Each exercise has three tempos to aid your practice while you drum along with the full battery!

NOTE ON Q2 AUDITIONS: For Audition #2 in the Q2 room, we will focus on material from the Basics section of the AQ packet, including any relevant variations of those exercises, along with other common exercises that assess fundamental skillsets. We will also play Letter C through the end of Loqed and the top through Letter C of SBIV.

If you were recommended to begin the audition process in the Q2 room, it is in your best interest to review the material listed above and begin preparing it as soon as possible.

Our goal is to make the audition process as fair and equitable as possible for everyone involved. We are providing the Q2 packets to everyone at the same time to ensure that all auditionees have equal access to the material and the same amount of preparation time.
